Updates for October

It's been a hot minute, hasn't it? Let's break it down.

First thing is first, I apologize for not being as frequent this month. This mostly boiled down to moving in with my partner. Initially we were set for Washington State, but there were some setbacks. Instead, I moved in with my partner in Georgia for the next three months, with our plans for Washington set in early December. I've been here before, funny enough, when I was visiting my partner late 2021, so there's a bit of deja vu. That said, the good news is that my PC is up and running, so I can get back to work...

...is what I would say if I wasn't being hacked! Rough transition I know, but hear me out. Basically one night, I fell for the "test my indie game" scam on Discord because said friend who was compromised is into indie development, hence why I let my own guard down. Though thankfully, I was quick enough to act to preserve my Discord and other account logins with password changes & setting my PC offline. Though it came at a cost of having to perform a manual backup & system wipe. The malware in question wasn't picked up by Windows Defender or Malwarebytes, meaning it must have been something new. I didn't lose any projects or files in the process thankfully, but I was rather annoyed having to set everything back up.

When everything was said and done, I will admit that I became sidetracked with a few passion projects. One of which is a fun pony themed map for the MCC, which is now out! Go play it, it's really good! A recent play test more or less confirmed that. Far from the only side project, I did construct a new version of Roxanne for VRChat use, since... well I was involved in a wee bit of profile play. I swear to you, this is not a perma thing like with Opti. I'm keeping my gote. I just can't use the avie in VRC until Oct 11. That said, I went to my old ways with making a "Hollow" version of Roxi. AKA a Nanachi, using Zoidberg's Zoichi Base, which I do recommend, it's real quality stuff. In a way, this is a fun callback to the Nanachi version of Optica I once had.

With all of that out of the way, what can you expect from me during Spooky Month? Well a number of things. First order of business, actually get off my ass and work on Arty's video commission. I also started a YCH based off of a recent animation I did, which you can find on my Aryion if you're interested in one. I may also be taking some poster commissions in SFM in the near future, especially since some friends have been itching for some 3D lewds from me, funny enough. I'm also involved with an art slave agreement with a supporter who wishes to remain anonymous. Just expect a lot of Twilight Sparkle being a dom in the near future.

Site stuff wise, I still need to unfortunately update my FurAffinity with re-uploads, which is very tedious. Same with image boards like Derpibooru and Furbooru, which mind you, involves a lot of tagging and having to process video files from MP4 to WebM format, since these image boards only accept WebM for video. I still have to manage uploads on my Itaku, but I'm honestly in no rush to handle that one, though I do appreciate that the site openly supports MP4 uploads.

Speaking of websites, with how the "Musk Rat" has been handling Twitter/X/whatever, I was able to snag a couple of codes to join Bluesky! Yes, you can now follow me there for my usual stuff and lewds. I'll try to remain active on Twitter as much as I can, though recent policy updates involving the use of AI has been rather concerning, to say the least.
