2023-08-15 19:27:00 +0000 UTCThanks for the review and comments. I had actually gone back and forth on whether Devin should make a move or not. Obviously, he is a bold man of action. I will confess that storytelling impulses may have over-ridden character in this case, as I am building a slow burn. Devin does have a conflict, for now, between his desire to ravish Serren and his sense of duty to protect and serve. I like that pink nightie as well, and, yes, I have spent a fair bit of money on dresses, hairdos and settings for this comic. The good news is that the support of my patrons has made it possible for me to do just that. I have a medieval bathtub scene I am aching to shoot and post (an issue or two away) and-- teaser we will have an appearance from Miss Bucket. I agree. Asyrn was wise to hold back. He does need to relax out of those action poses for sure. Thanks again. Always great to hear from you.

I really enjoyed this new episode of my favorite story. - The scene where Seren doesn't even attempt to grab the royal sword was nice. - Tell Asryn to relax his fighting stance once the battle is over to avoid catching a cramp. - Please, don't tell Asryn how presumptuous he is for thinking he could kill Paternia. I'm eager to see what would happen if he tries. - Devin is manly and the way Serenina interacts with him is charming. - I was very surprised when Devin held back from making a move on Serenina while escorting her to her room. Yes, it might be too early for in bed action, but I anticipated some passionate kissing at least. After all, he had just saved her, and it almost seemed like Paternia was pushing him towards her sister. - It's refreshing to see Serenina in her new pink nightie after all the royal dresses and gowns. I do hope though, that these elegant outfits aren't causing a strain on your treasury. Looking forward to the next episode!

I debated whether to have Serren try and lift the sword so we would see him fail, but I decided it would be more revealing about his mental state if he didn't even try. Also, since I know you read the novel, when I do get to showing the transformation scene in the comic, the sword will play a role in that scene just like it did in the book. I am torn as to whether I am being too obvious or too opaque with the phallic symbolism.
