Mainly the idea is that Serren is very beautiful and very desirable now. He is also something of a unicorn-- a former alpha male now iin a voluptuous female body, so many people find this combination fascinating (Actonia, for example). Devin, though, is also triggered by the fact his former rival is now a small, weak female. He longs to dominate the woman Serren has become. No spoilers on demons elves and such! You'll have to wait and see!
