Anyone who has experienced the loss/watching the decline of a pet I'm sure you know just what I'm feeling. Nothings more crippling to me than the thought of losing my sweet Catalina. Its crippling enough to see her in the state she's in. If you are dealing with a sick pet, you aren't alone.❤️💚 Its been so scary to see her fine one minute, but then unable to walk the next. A positive is that she was more energetic today, but unfortunately all her symptoms have not gone away. Her energy is so limited...The rapid eye movement today has been pretty bad. I'm taking her to the Vet again tomorrow (hopefully they can get her in). So we will see what they say.
Ugh, the holidays can be so hard. I hope you are being gentle with yourself!

My chinchilla Callie passed away unexpectedly this year. There’s something about a pet’s innocence that just really gets to me. My heart goes out to you. Try to really celebrate your Catalina and capitalize on the time she may have left 💓

Also saw you wearing a tech shirt in one of your videos and I currently go there! So wreck em’! Anyways. My dog Sophie was 10/11 and she was having seizures and at first we didn’t know she was. It all started with her laying down and shaking (like she was dreaming of running shaking) but then she would make noises like she was coughing up a fur ball or something and that would like like 10-30 seconds and then she would be totally fine and act normal. So that happened for a bit and since she was our first dog we just assumed it was old age. As time went on the shaking and the seizures lasted longer. We would find pools of droll on her bed indicating that her seizures were lasting longer than before. On her final day she was having trouble walking. She couldn’t walk straight. She would lean to one side while she walked. Or she couldn’t stand on her own. She had a massive seizure that left her seizing for a good 30 minutes. At this point I’m in tears and left my house because I didn’t want to see my childhood dog die. Whenever I returned home my dad took her to get put down...he explained that she started crying in pain and the vet had to sedate her so her body could relax. Sophie was put down that night because the seizures were going to get worse and we didn’t want her in pain. I really really hope that Catalina is not experiencing what my dog went though...hopefully it’s just her old age...but I wanted to share my experience with you so you can be more aware on what can happen to a dog. On a happier note: thank you for making videos to help me relax and get my mind off of life! I appreciate you and all that you do for us!
