Regarding Oppaiman.

After what Steam did to our project, a lot of people have been suggesting this platform. I've heard mixed feedback — some highly recommend it, while others warn against it. Honestly, given the current situation, I don’t have many options left, so I’m keeping it in mind.

That said, according to their rules:

“You must have at least 300 paid patrons on Patreon.”

It’s a realistic number to reach, and we do have some time to think it over.

If you’ve had any experience with that platform — good or bad — feel free to share. Should we consider posting the game there, or better not?

Patreon».
Это вполне достижимая цифра, и у нас как раз есть время всё обдумать.

Если у вас есть опыт с этой платформой — положительный или отрицательный — напишите. Как думаете, стоит туда загружать игру или лучше не связываться?

Thank you.

If you just want a place to promote the game... f95zone.com is the place where I find almost all of these. Most people just post 1 or 2 versions behind current one.

The big issue Patreon is that it is hard to find anything "new" on Patreon unless you specifically know the title/creator from other sources. I play a heavy moddes Skyrim, alot of mod authors moved from the Nexus to Patreon and unless you know or go through the comments section and find that they moved, the authors and their mods basically disappeared. Another issue is you very often have to pay first to see if their creations are worth it. In mods cases I would release a basic outfit on a site like Nexus. Then if people like it they can subscribe and get the full deal, multiple textures, matching weapons etc I think you need to find a similar way to expose yourself to a larger crowd with a free sample, this could be a short story with the same characters, 1 hour playtime at most to give players a taste of the story and your render style. Then when they like it they can get the full version by subscribing to your Patreon. I think Itchio is a good site to release something short so people can more easily find your work and get a taste for it.
