Added 2023-01-21 02:00:02 +0000 UTCI'm kind of late in the week this, ugh, week....and I don't know what to post for bonus content. I was going to do a whole post of how I basically invented "hyper-messing" with influences... but I couldn't find the original comic that inspired me. Then was going to pull out one of the 3 suitcases of art in my shed but then it snowed and that's not so accessible right now.
So what I'm going to do is just post THREE pages today and try talk about them a bit, and I'll do a SUPER bonus post next week for the Super Perverts. Anyway, this is the 2nd of those three pages.
This page of Piggy Painslut was probably where I really started tracking the backgrounds as consistent spaces. Like you can see she's around the corner from where she entered the room on the last page. And in a few pages she'll get dragged to a room just past that staircase. I used to draw little blue prints of the rooms to keep it straight.
I also gave Miss Kitty the Egyptian whip because I thought that could be kind of a quirk for her character, but I don't think I followed through on that. All of the art in the background seems to medieval Christian inspired. Anyway, maybe I'll bring that quirk back when this comic is sustainable again.
