Man, Imagine if Patreon Existed in 2012...
Added 2022-12-03 18:38:03 +0000 UTCI looked into it, it actually came out in early 2013 which was literally only a few months after I quit Madame Zelda's. I started art school in September of 2012 and that was really when I shifted my focus. I was just coming off of giving Zelda's a full time go. It was so much work doing commissions and basically begging for donations. If Patreon had come out about a year earlier I probably would have been able to make it.
Anyway, one of schemes was t-shirts and swag. I never sold many and I checked and my CafePress site is gone now. I had bought a Piggy Painslut baseball shirt which I FUCKIN' loved. I finally wore it out a few years back.
