I Built a Zoo

Hey there Perverts! This is a sample of the bonus content tier level 2 and 3 Patrons will have access to. I can't embed the photos in this text, so I'll just attache them in order. I leave them unlocked for Patrons of any level for October (in case you want to upgrade or whatever.)

When I was in my early 20s I carried a suitcase full of sketchbooks, and drawing tools everywhere I went. I was constantly drawing: on park benches, in cafes and bars, and at my job in a adult video store. It was all very public. And you know, it helped me make friends, get laid, and even make a little extra cash, but I was keenly aware that I was holding back. I had all these secret fucked up sex obsessions and weird fantasies but no way to really explore them.

So, in 2005 I started my first private sketchbook dedicated entirely to my repressed fetishism. I even numbered the pages. It wasn't even a good sketchbook. It was terrible actually, at least for pens. Good for charcoal maybe. The paper was coarse and cream coloured, my pen would get caught in the fibers. But what did I know? It was just lying around the house and I was like “I guess this is the one.” I'm pretty sure an aunt got it for me for Christmas when I was teenager.

Mostly it was full of sketches of human characters, many of them self-portraits, engaging in kinky scenes. I had few ageplay characters I was working with a lot and making crude comics of (even cruder than Madame Zelda's If you can believe it.) There was one about a buxom girl named Amy with the mind and bowel control of a baby, there was a pair of teens that traded off pranking each other in embarrassing and sexual ways, and there were ones that were basically just me living out sexual fantasies. It was all very much done panel by panel without any planning. You know: pure id. Whatever happened, happened.

Around the same time I was running this monthly comix jam where people would drink and collaboratively make comics. It was in a bar, so every comic was edgy and offensive, real gross-out stuff. There was one guy there who would just write narratives and other people would fill in the panels. This one month he wrote a story about a dominatrix bunny and I filled in a whole row of panels. I LOVED drawing her. She kind of became my own character appearing all over my sketchbooks, not just the secret one.

Then one day I drew a panel in that private sketchbook with the title Cedric The Sissy. When it came time for the macho, sexist, homophobic Cedric to meet is foil, the bunny character was ready to just slot in there. A few pages later I drew the first The Perils of Piggy Painslut comic. When she arrived at a place I called Madame Zelda's Zoo of Perversion (I don't know where that name came from,) I had Cedric answer the door in a french maid's outfit. Suddenly I had a fictional universe: The Zelda's Zooniverse. I was off to the races.

It would be another year before I started posting them online. That wasn't the original intention at all. In the opening panel of Cedric the Sissy he even says “Aww Jeeze! You ain't publishin' this are ya?” Well, I did, Cedric. But that's a story for another post.

All those warning messages on the front of the sketch book are only going encourage peepers to peep. If you really want to keep people away, you just need one word. "Poems"

There aren't very many, but I think I will post some down the road! Thanks!

Cool to see some of this, might just have to upgrade down the line for some of those comics~ Amy is cute
