This week we’ve added 8k of text into the code. It’s hard to give a solid estimate of how big the update is going to be because we aren’t sure what will be added and what will be left for later but overall, I believe it’s going to be around 30k of words (even more for English version of the game). Judging by this, you can understand how much is yet to be done.

All technical problems are behind us now, we just got to keep working on the code and testing it as we go along. There’s no way we’ll be able to make it all work without encountering some problem, solely because of the huge size of the update and the huge number of changes made to the gameplay but we’ll do our best.

Once we’re done with all that, we’re going to start preparing for Steam release. I had some doubts regarding this decision but unfortunately, there’s no other option nor better time to do this. Well, the only problem might be if you don’t like the update. That’s possible as well. In that case, we would have to do something about it.

Is there any point in making bonus art this month or is it better to focus on the update?

За эту неделю код продвинулся на 8К слов. Оценить само обновление по объему трудно из того, что мы не уверены, что в неё войдет, а что будет отложено, но это примерно 30 к слов (для английской версии больше). Исходя из это того вы можете представить сколько примерно осталось.

Технические сложности мы вроде бы преодолели, теперь осталось просто планомерно делать код и тестировать. Сделать все идеально мы конечно не сможем, слишком большой объем и много изменений, но постараемся.

После этого будем готовить игр к релизу в Стим. Я очень сомневался в этом решении, но, к сожалению, видимо другого варианта нет и лучше момента не будет. Ну разве что, если обновление вообще не понравится, как и игра. Такое тоже возможно. И в таком случае придется как-то доделывать.

Есть ли смысл делать бонус арт в этом месяце или лучше сосредоточить все силы на обновлении?
