The Sects, the Scorpions (Assassin's), Window of Heaven (that the Prince and A-xu belonged to), and the Ghost Valley. Most names have a identifier behind them that immediately tell you who they belong to and that's actually all you have to remember, honestly, there aren't that many characters that are super important for the main story line and the one who are will all get screen time later and get explained.
