I’m not sure if I’m interpreting this right or that I’m thinking too hard about this, but *sigh* here goes: Correct me if I’m wrong but is she talking to Daybreaker? The reddish-orange colour in the bottom left corner seems like light from fire; fire from Daybreaker’s mane. And Nightmare seems to be looking in that direction. Not to mention that the sword she is using (the one used for literal murder XD) could mean that a duel has just taken place between Nightmare and Daybreaker (like from ‘A Royal Problem’). Why Daybreaker? Because of Nightmare’s words, “The night will be pleasant and rather chill.”, sounds like a demand, a demand you would make after winning a conflict. And who has Nightmare had the most conflict with throughout the series? Her sister. Furthermore, that chair (to me) could be a throne, Daybreaker’s throne. Which would explain why they were fighting; to determine who would be the ruler of Equestria and if the eternal night, or eternal day will exist. It seems Nightmare has won, based on her victory demand and that her posture implies supremacy, like she has conquered the throne. By the way, this would work well with your past artwork and how Nightmare has an affinity for dominating her sister ;) Which I think further supports this interpretation. But anyway, I could be completely wrong with this interpretation. However, based on all these subtly details you’ve put into this artwork I think this is its context. After all, art is subjective and up for interpretation by the observer, right? But again, I could be completely wrong XD. If that’s the case, (and if you want to) could you PLEASE describe what the real context of this artwork is? Thank you in advance if you do. :) PS: Interpretation aside, I LOVE the way the light is glistening off of Nightmare’s body! It makes her body look very smooth, and shiny - that’s so arousing. ❤️ ❤️❤️
