Regarding Pixiv's Service Fee...

Hi Folks.

As some of you may already know, Fanbox will be increasing the service fee only for R18 creators starting September 1st—thanks to credit card companies and payment providers who seem to think it's their moral duty to mess with things they don’t like.

If you’ve been around for a while, you know this isn’t the first time something like this has happened. Unfortunately, that means I need to make a few adjustments to the current plan prices as follows:

Tier 1: Will be removed. No one is currently subscribed to this tier, so it shouldn’t be an issue.

Tier 2: Will increase from 500 yen to 700 yen—that’s a 200 yen difference, which is just a bit over 1 dollar. (The perks of the tier will stay the same.)

If you’re wondering why I don’t just switch platforms—Patreon doesn’t allow some of the content I make, which would affect the polls, and my SubscribeStar account hasn’t been approved (and honestly, I doubt it will be anytime soon).

I totally understand if some of you feel disappointed by the sudden changes, but if I want to keep offering a balance between quality and quantity in my work, I need to make sure the time I put into it is actually worth it.

These changes will take effect on the 29th of this month, and Fanbox might require you to manually select your plan again, since they don’t let creators simply update pricing.
