A Rider Kick in Marvel Rewrite Vol 2 Ch 74

The Irminsul Group's lab buzzed with activity. White-coated scientists huddled over complex machinery, their faces illuminated by the glow of holographic displays. Guards patrolled the perimeter, their eyes scanning for any sign of unauthorized access. But none of them noticed the subtle distortion rippling across the surface of a large, ornate mirror tucked away in a dimly lit corner.

Inside the Mirror World, Ace, now Kamen Rider Ryuki, watched the scene unfold. His red and silver armor gleamed faintly in the distorted reflection of the lab. He was invisible to the scientists and guards, a silent observer lurking just beyond the veil of reality. This is too easy, Ace thought.

Ryuki carefully considered his next move. He needed to create a diversion, something that would draw attention away from the artificial Crack and give him the opportunity to disable it. Time to have some fun. Ryuki grinned.

Ryuki summoned Dragreder with a flash of red light. The dragon materialized beside him in the Mirror World, its eyes glowing with barely contained power. Ryuki pointed toward a section of the lab housing several volatile energy containers.

"Dragreder, give those a little nudge."

The dragon roared, unleashing a controlled burst of flame that struck the containers. Back in the real world, alarms blared as sparks flew and smoke filled the air. Pandemonium broke loose. The scientists stopped their work. Guards started to run to the source.

With the lab in a state, Ryuki stepped back through the mirror and into the real world. Ryuki, now undetected, moved to swipe the Genesis Driver and Energy Lockseeds. The crack was now accessible. He planned to head back to Helheim with his newly acquired loot.

The alarms already screamed throughout the base. The fire suppression systems kicked in, drenching the area in foam. Scientists were evacuating, while others, clearly designated as security personnel, worked to stop the blaze from spreading further.

Ryuki watched as one scientist, face contorted with stress, grabbed two metallic briefcases. Ryuki had hoped the evacuation would allow him to simply walk in and seize the Genesis Drivers, but it seemed that wasn't to be the case. The scientist, with surprising speed, stuffed a Genesis Driver and matching Energy Lockseed into each container before snapping them shut.

Ryuki acted. In a burst of speed, he was upon the scientist. A quick jab to the neck, and the scientist crumpled to the floor, unconscious. Ryuki grabbed the briefcases.

"Intruder alert! Kamen Rider!" a scientist shrieked, pointing a trembling finger. "Guards! Get him!"

The call was answered. From multiple points, figures emerged. These were not the scientists or security personnel from before. These figures were Kurokage Troopers.

Each trooper was clad in dark green, almost black, armored suits. Their helmets were shaped like stylized pinecones, complete with a menacing visor. The mass-produced Riders were an intimidating sight. They were proof of Dai-Shocker's ability to turn Helheim's power into a weapon, not just for a few chosen individuals, but for an entire army. Their armor, while functional, lacked any of the unique flair or personalized design of the main Riders. Each trooper carried a Kagematsu, a spear-like weapon. The weapons were proof of the lockseed in action. Each helmet was adorned with a symbol that proved the mass production in motion.

These were not just grunts; they were trained combatants enhanced by the power of the Matsubokkuri Lockseed. They were ready to eliminate any resistance to Dai-Shocker’s plans. Ryuki had to go through them.

The Kurokage Troopers advanced, their Kagematsu spears lowered. Ryuki smirked beneath his helmet. These mass-produced Riders lacked the finesse and skill of a true Kamen Rider. This was going to be easier than he thought.

Ryuki sidestepped the first thrust, grabbing the spear and yanking the Trooper off balance. A swift kick sent the trooper crashing into his comrades, creating a domino effect. Ryuki spun, delivering a series of rapid punches, each one connecting with pinpoint accuracy. Sparks flew from the troopers' armor as they were knocked back, their movements clumsy and telegraphed.

One trooper managed to regain his footing and lunged, but Ryuki caught the spear mid-thrust, twisting it from the trooper's grasp. With a powerful swing, he shattered the weapon against another trooper's helmet, the pinecone visor cracking under the force. The troopers fell like dominoes.

Time to make an exit. Ryuki thought.

A plan took shape in Ace's mind. He couldn't afford to waste time fighting an endless horde. He needed to reach the Crack, and fast. He takes out the Sakura Hurricane Lockseed and clicks it.

The Lockseed unfolded, transforming into its motorcycle form. A burst of energy erupted from the fruit emblem, coalescing into the sleek form of the Sakura Hurricane right before him. With the briefcases secured, Ryuki straddled the bike, the petal-shaped fairing gleaming under the emergency lights.

"Let's go, Dragreder!" Ace shouted.

The dragon roared in response, taking to the air as Ace revved the Sakura Hurricane’s engine. With a screech of tires, the Sakura Hurricane launched forward, bursting through the ranks of stunned Kurokage Troopers. The hallway became a blur of motion, the bike weaving between the panicked Dai-Shocker forces. Troopers lunged with their Kagematsu, only to be met with a burst of speed and a shower of sparks. The mass-produced Sengoku Drivers were not agile enough to keep up.

Dragreder flew above, a crimson guardian angel. When Troopers got too close, the dragon unleashed blasts of fire, forcing them to scatter. The air filled with the stench of ozone and burning metal. The alarms blared, and the shouts echoed as Ace sped on.

The artificial Crack loomed ahead, a swirling vortex of green energy. Ace gripped the handlebars, the Sakura Hurricane's engine roaring as it hurtled toward the portal. The Troopers redoubled their efforts, desperate to stop him, but it was too late.

With a final burst of speed, the Sakura Hurricane soared through the artificial Crack.

The other side was the Helheim camp of Irminsul. Ace doesn't pause. He barrels through, the Hurricane's engine screaming in protest as it leaves the artificial Crack. He bursts out of the camp at full throttle, leaving chaos in his wake. The world was a blur of twisted trees and grotesque flora.

The Irminsul Kurokage Troopers on the Helheim side were caught off guard, momentarily stunned by the crimson Rider's sudden arrival. Their surprise didn't last long. Orders barked through their comms: pursue the intruder and retrieve the stolen goods. The Troopers responded with disciplined efficiency.

They scrambled to their designated vehicles, the sleek, white-and-gold Dandeliners. With practiced ease, the Troopers swung their legs over the seats and hit the ignition. The dandelion-puff rotors whirred to life, lifting the bikes off the ground. Soon, a swarm of Dandeliners took to the skies, hot on the trail of the lone Rider.

As the Troopers gained on him, energy blasts whizzed past Ace. The blasts singed the Helheim vegetation as they missed their mark. The air crackled with energy as he swerved violently to avoid them. The Dandeliners had superior firepower. This was going to be a challenge.

Dragreder, always vigilant, swooped in to assist his Rider. The crimson dragon unleashed bursts of flame, attempting to impede the Troopers. The Troopers were numerous, and they expertly dodged most of the attacks. A few Dandeliners went down in balls of flame and smoke, but the majority kept up the pursuit, undeterred.

Ace glanced at the speedometer. The needle edged closer to the 200 kilometers per hour mark, the magic number required for dimensional travel. He pushed the Hurricane harder, the engine straining against the workload. He could feel the telltale signs of a Crack forming: the air crackling, the strange pull, and the faint shimmer in his vision.

Suddenly, Sakura petals danced around him. The familiar sensation washed over him. A Crack materialized before Ace. It was a swirling vortex of pink and blue energy, beckoning him to the safety of another world. Without hesitation, Ace aimed the Sakura Hurricane for the tear. With a final push, the bike accelerated into the swirling vortex. Dragreder, as always, followed close behind.

The Sakura Hurricane burst out of the Crack. Ace was back on the familiar streets of Musutafu. The artificial portal behind him winked out of existence. He had successfully shaken off his pursuers.

Ace slowed the bike, pulling over to the side of the road. The city sounds washed over him. The familiar scent of street food filled the air. He cut the engine and leaned back, finally allowing himself to release a breath. "That was too close," he said. He let out a long sigh of relief.
