I used to play until I went to college. I have seen many YU-GI-OH fanfics, but not so many Cardfight Vanguard.

It did cross my mind to use gear chronicles and use the D format but they don't made too much cards for the D format for gear chronicles. So the progression will be hard unless I make original card effects. Or the progression will the MC using different decks. I find Dragonic Overlord easier or just the MC using Dragon Empire decks. For the setting, I'm leaning more into a original world with a duel academy setting. I'm also trying to figure out how the MC will get cards instead of just buying.

Cause if you are I suggest male oc in cardfight vanguard overdress/divine z series and format fic with oc using gear chronicle of overdress/divine z format version maybe with two oc divine ace grade 3 chrono jet dragon and chrono fang tiger and with harem plus other characters from the reboot v series and g series crossing over and into with overdress/divine z series and standard 2025 format decks versions
