Enchanted Trinkets: Something for Everyone

These are reasonably priced magic items with minor, flavorful impacts that make them fun to have around but not unbalancing for GMs to hand out as rewards, only really making a difference when an adventurer breaks their enchanted trinket for a more profound impact. This article details class-specific enchanted trinkets in the same vein as A Present for Every Class (which had an issue for Warriors and Spellcasters), making sure there's something for everyone whether that's the barbarian's victory cord, bard's miraculous ring, cleric's devoted diadem, druid's leafy greaves, fighter's splendid sheathe, mage's magnificent cape, monk's combat bracers, paladin's minor relic, ranger's sacred locket, rogue's brass knuckles, sorcerer's exceptional boots, warlock's glittering gemstone, warrior's battle belt, or wizard's remarkable gloves! It should be when you use the last charge (fixed the PDF and re-uploaded it!), but the weak nature of these magic items is integral to their being enchanted trinkets (these are actually a little on the strong side for ETs thus the attunement). They are fun and neat for players to have, and they have accessible prices so they might be bought or sold more easily than standard magic items, but they're unlikely to be unbalancing in any way. If the adventurers already have better items than these to use for all of their attunement slots, they are very likely already past the point where enchanted trinkets are best dispensed. There are more powerful class specific items to be found in the A Present for Every Class articles hyperlinked in the description though!

It's main effect probably just gives someone else a benefit, and if you use a charge it has a 65% chance of becoming inert. Is it supposed to be when you use the last charge? Overall they all seem weak for something that takes an attunement slot. Instead of Attunement, maybe just it can only be activated by a ___________.

2019-09-29 19:47:39 +0000 UTCAll my patreons, I can only get the latest file... Tried Firefox, and it forced me to "confirm a new device", even tho its the same laptop, and I can get all files. In chrome I logged out closed the tab, deleted cache., shut down chrome. Then fired it back up, relogged in and still can only get the latest file. Lol All is well, Firefox did it.. Its not Patreon... something in my Chrome
