The Savant: Basic Class Information
Added 2018-12-20 13:37:20 +0000 UTCA brand new 5E class! Savants are first and foremost experts, unique even when compared to arcane or divine sages. Brilliant detectives, iconic martial artists, and adventurous physicians are counted among their number, each utilizing brilliance where others rely on magic or brute power. Looks good! Just to be clear, the "one hand free" for light armor is when you're using one weapon and no shield, correct?

2018-12-26 15:05:42 +0000 UTCSmart Defense has been tweaked! It should read as follows: Smart Defense. While you are wearing armor, you gain a +1 bonus to AC. In addition, while wearing light armor if you have one hand free, you gain a bonus to AC equal to your Intelligence modifier (up to a maximum no higher than your proficiency bonus). Alternatively, while wearing medium armor, you may use Intelligence instead of Dexterity when calculating AC.
