The Mahout: Basic Class Information
Added 2018-08-28 08:39:33 +0000 UTCThe Mahout is a new class for 5th Edition, a tamer of monsters, a character with a special bond with their devoted pet, whether that be a beast, an exotic aberration, a slime, or even a draconic creature. Also includes the Animalist subclass (two more subclasses, the Monstrous and Oddball appear next month), and four introductory monster tricks. Thank you for pointing that out! It should read "As long as you can see your pet, you can use your reaction to take an amount of damage up to your mahout level + Constitution modifier, and your pet gains a number of temporary hit points equal to the damage you take."
