This is great! I like all the sub-classes. The drifter reaction when attacked is so cool and a clsssic gun duel trope. Also, I love how you flavored the magic abilities of the maverick as appearing non-magical. Finally, all the maverick tricks are really fun, useful and flavorful too! Excellent work!!!

I mean, to be fair, the Champion Criticals are loaded as a fighting style, but yeah, it does seem a bit much. On the other hand, they lose out on the bonus Extra Attacks of the Fighter and are MAD. The ASI's are probably the most excessive part to be honest.

Not a fan. Giving it fighter hitpoints, barbarian AC, ASI of the fighter class, the criticals of the champion fighter. Fighting Styles, also fighter. It should have been a fighter archetype. I allow poeple to use the touch of class races from your last book, but this one will be banned at our table.

Gunfighter is a genuine Old West term; less common than gunslinger or gunman, but it appeared in newspapers in the 1870s.

Gun...fighter? Why not call it the Gunslinger?
