The main thing is changing CLUSTER_THRESHOLD under that last section to a higher value, the other 2 bits are just to compensate for the greater light bounce you need to brighten things up. There is a trade off in that some bits at the track edge and marker boards are not lit quite as well, but you can compensate for that by raising the emissives on the affected objects if you wanted

Increases FPS by about 50%.
