Added 2017-10-02 11:05:35 +0000 UTCThese horrific monstrosities include the Maw Swarm (a cluster of living humanoid mouths driven by an all-consuming hunger), Oculites (two-foot diameter eyes encased in crystal shells), Slitherwhites (amputated tentacles grafted into a knot of writhing flesh), and the Slithering Crown (a higher form of merged Slitherwhite). What great timing! An aboleth features as an important antagonist in my campaign that the party will likely encounter at my next session. This article has given me some great story ideas. I do wish these articles—especially those introducing new monsters—would contain more art.
