I'm having a hard time figuring out how to move the party from completing "Quest XII: Kobolds of Thornbury" in Part 1 to the Bandits of Blackford in Part 2. Anyone run this already and have any suggestions?

Both this version, and the Pathfinder original, make reference to "Orc Band", "Goblin Band", and "Demon Band" random encounters (e.g., "Help the town guard root some goblins from the sewers (use the Goblin Band random encounter)". Unfortunately, no such encounters are listed. A bigger problem, which also came up with the original, is that it doesn't seem plausible that the heroes could complete even a majority of the Part II quests (which include an awful lot of travel time) in less than a month or two, by which point most of the towns will have been destroyed, and Ariadne shouldn't even be an aftertaste. I'd be interested if anyone is willing to share any maps they've used for the Part II quests and encounters.

Oh, I'm very interested. LOL

If there seems to be interest. :)

With only one chapter left in TSAD, might we be seeing To Stake a Vampire converted to 5e as well? (crosses fingers)

I think they're 6 miles each, but I'd have to check!

For the original Pathfinder version, the designer confirmed that the hexes were 12 miles each, making the area on the overland map larger than the British Isles. If you're wondering how the players can plausibly complete enough quests before Cirothe kills everyone (much less in time to save the kids)... I'm not sure they can, without a lot of DM hand-waving.

cool

I would like to know how many miles the hexes are intended to be in the adventure. I know it doesn't matter for the adventure itself since you move fixed amount of hexes per day, but the reason i would like to know is i'm intending to run this adventure as part of existing campaign, with existing hexmap. I plan on redrawing the adventures map to be area on my hexmap, so the hexes need to be same scale.
