I liked the background options and effects for the different scenario. I think that this would be more valuable as part of a series where you have some post-apocalyptic settlements, some new class options, some adventures, mutated creatures, etc. While I don't expect to start a post-apocalyptic campaign anytime soon, I could see having the party go investigate an isolated region that experience some apocalyptic event It could make for a fun session or two. I like it enough to want more, but not enough to pay for the equivalent of Gamma World.
