To The Stars: Science Fiction for Fifth Edition

Spice up your game with a little sci-fi action! Meet the Engineer and the Spacer backgrounds, learn how to move in zero-g, and grab an energy shield, ablative armor, or an energy weapon. By Kiel Chenier; illustrated by Indi Martian.  This is also the final article from layout designer Justin Buell; it will be sad to see him go, but exciting to bring on board Eric Life-Putnam to fill his shoes!

Because the relevant historic event took place now (well, last week)! I think it's a nice touch, and it's not like it's a regular feature. :)

There are some weird things in this layout, some of the bullet points are out of alignment and the columns of text have different widths on the same page. The rainbow footnotes are a nice thought if a little garish, but the article itself has nothing to really to do with civil rights. Why not save that footnote for a article that you can actually tie back to civil rights?

Ahhhh, gotcha. That's understandable then.

The rainbow color seems appropriate given events of the last week. :)

I'm definitely not a fan of the layout. The rainbow-metallic color is just very garish to me. (Edit: The layout itself is fine actually, I just don't like the color. Reminds me of a 90s website. On the Business of Emotion revised the red color is a lot better and looks really nice.) The content, however, is very very good. Definitely inspiring!

Perfect! Was just thinking today of adding some sci-fi flavor for a side-quest.
