Some fun with statistics, for those who find such things interesting. I just made a little Patreon projection spreadsheet. Due to the way people tend to cap monthly amounts, each subsequent article in a given month makes about 70% of the one preceding it. Using that, plus the average pledge you can project expected monthly revenue based on the number of patrons. 245 patrons works out to about $1,800 per month; 1,000 patrons (yeah, I know - that's a long way off, and probably way beyond the scope of the project, but it's fun to plug big numbers into the formula just to see what it does!) brings it up to just over $7,500 per month. That's only gross revenue, of course; doesn't account for Patreon's commission, failed payments, or the production costs of the articles and adventures. What's really interesting is that a 5th article each month needs nearly 500 total patrons to break even. That 5th article doesn't have to be an article, of course - it could be extra content in the existing quota of articles (a 40% increase in adventure length is the same as an article in terms of content production costs). So that's why one of the milestone goals is set at $1,500 - it's what I've calculated as the break-even point for that extra content. That's twice the current funding level, though, so it's quite a ways in the distance right now! It's all quite fascinating, and I'm enjoying exploring the way Patreon works!

Ahh I must have missed that somewhere thanks.

For instance even though it was likely hyperbole I got a little spooked when you said 100 articles a months when describing how funding caps would still provide total access.
