2026-02-12 09:01:39 +0000 UTCAshleigh, first, James Vanderbeek passed away at 48 of colorectal cancer. Dawson's Creek and Varsity Blues are wat he's best known for. Since ur done with Buffy now, I've always known there was drama behind the scenes. That's an understatement. First, the movie we got was watered down. Joss wanted a darker movie, but the studio wanted a comedy, so he left and that's wat we got. So, when he got the series, the documentary said that with every episode , it was like him giving them the finger. There was one rule on the set that was never broken . Dawn's actress was 14 at the time and there was an incident with her and Joss. She's never said wat happened publicly. So Joss was never to be alone with her. Cast and crew made sure that the rule was enforced.Faith was brought on to replace Buffy, but she was offered a spin-off that she turned down. There's an undeclared romance between Buffy and Faith. I've seen 3 or 4 videos today that support it. they used clips from Buffy, and one song set to it was Bad romance. Go to 80sAIReimagined and u will find videos of the characters singing. Some of them are called Wat if Buffy was a rock anthem, Wat if Buffy was a high school musical , Wat if Buffy was a sitcom....U can find cool concept trailers else. The character of Xander was goofy and irritating at times, but the actor has a long criminal history . Mostly for domestic stuff. He's a dark person. In fact, there was Buffy reunion and David (Angel) said that if Nicholas(Xander) was coming, he wouldn't be there. There was actually a fight between them and one of them landed a punch. It took Joshua Jackson (Pacey, Dawson's Creek ) to break it up. If u wanna go down that rabbit hole for the whole complete story, type in Buffy drama and it will show up right away. It's 1 hr. 46 minutes. I loved ur Buffy reactions so much. Please do Sopranos eventually. As for movies , Footloose, Dirty Dancing, Assassi*ation of Jesse James by the coward Bob Ford , Charade (Audrey Hepburn) , Beetlejuice 2, and the Scream films so u will be caught up for Scream 7, which comes out on February 27th . Not sure if he has enough credits to do an RIP poll, but I felt he deserved a mention. I never saw Dawson's Creek, but I knew who he was. RIP sir. 48 is too young to go.
