It was fun to see Ving Rhames before his big break as Marcellus Wallace in Pulp Fiction.

It's been so long since I've watched this, but it was great! Ben Kingsley (the VP) is a very good actor.. definitely need to watch him more. :)

Imagine having a president that would actually sit down and find 650 million dollars in the budget to help homeless people. Oh, but.... we need a ballroom...

Ashleigh I'm so glad you loved this movie - it's such a delight! I would very much love it if you would give West Wing another shot -- it's written by Aaron Sorkin, who wrote A Few Good Men, which you loved.

Always loved this movie and glad you enjoyed it. Looking forward to Best in Show - I have watched it twice in the past few weeks.
Going to put it out there again, recommend you get The Fall Guy on a poll. It has two things you love - explosions and Ryan Gosling.

That's one of the movies we all quote at each other, so that's a big bright second from me.

You should watch, or put on a poll, a very funny movie that Kevin Kline and Sally Field are in called Soap Dish. You would love it!

4:23 - It isn't really a joke: it's reality. The IBM word processor and the Wang company word processor were very different; there was a learning curve involved. It's like being trained on a PC and then being put in front of a Mac. You have to retrain in certain things.
21:24 - A confession: if it's ruffles, I eat it ridge by ridge....
By the way, that's Charles Grodin, who was a brilliantly cynical mind, and occasional actor. I love him best in his teamup with Robert DeNiro, "Midnight Run".
The VP is Ben Kingsley. I think you don't know his work, but you must get to, Ashleigh! I highly recommend watching as "Gandhi" -- Oh! But you do know him, I think. You have seen "Schindler's List"? I think so. Then you have seen him.
