this is the episode that jumped the shark for me

Fun fact - which might have been mentioned in the episode that introduced Nina; Jenny Mollen, who plays Nina the werewolf, is married to Jason Biggs from American Pie.

I want to spoil things!!! lol but I won't. I am going to wait until you finish watching the series and then run back through and make my comments. I love your reactions and love to see you having fun.

Oh. So Spike doesn't become a puppet in the episode, but they DID make limited edition Angel and Spike puppets. I would love to get my hands on one of the Spike ones but they're like $300 a pop or something ridiculous.

I’ve been looking forward to you getting to this episode for 4 & half seasons: I’m so happy it’s finally here. I can’t wait for the next batch of episodes: I can’t believe I have to wait another damned week for them; lousy time going so slow haha.

This is the "Bandy Candy" episode of Angel. Lol. I love it.

There’s usually at least one episode a season, that you can’t wait for new viewers of Buffy & Angel to watch: for Buffy, I’m thinking ‘Hush’ in season 4 & ‘Once More With Feeling’ in season 6 as prime examples. When it comes to season 5 of Angel, ‘Smile Time’ fits that category: though I’m also partial to the Pavayne episode from earlier, but mainly because the actor that plays Pavayne has such a great voice haha. I mean, it’s been over 2 decades since I first saw that episode, & I still randomly try to imitate Pavayne’s voice & quote his lines; because I’m unbelievably sad haha. But yeah, ‘Smile Time’ is crazy in all the best ways: from the interactions with Angel & Nina, to Wesley having a go at Angel for not doing something about his feelings for Nina, & Angel realising that Wesley was talking about himself; it’s such a fun conversation between the 2 of them, & it reminds you back to earlier episodes, before both the show, & Wesley, got so serious. I also love Lorne’s line, after Nina tries to eat Angel, when he says “Is there a Geptepto in the house!?”: Lorne’s got some superb lines throughout the episode. I wish Spike had been in more of the episode, but his brief appearance is a real scene stealer: the way he keeps calling Angel “the wee little puppet man” is fantastic, & the fight between them is hilarious. I bet it so funny to film that whole bit: James Marsters does a great job of making the fight look real haha. I remember dying for Wesley & Fred to get together for about 2 seasons: then she got with Gunn & that whole mess happened: and after that, they came to W&H, & that bastard Knox came along, & felt like it would never happen. Needless to say, the way this episode ended, was a huge relief to pretty much everyone back in 2005 haha. I like both, but I think Fresley works best: I’ll be using that from now on haha.

Does this mean we'll get Angel 5x20, 21, 22 and the first episode(s) of Stranger Things all on Feb 25? Assuming the first episode(s) of ST are still being posted here a week early and will be public on March 4.... I'm a little confused about the schedule right now lol

What happened to the end of Buffy?

I have been WAITING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL... I love the extra large brows. I mean, they had to... I don't know how they all got through this episode without laughing their heads off. I would've had SO much trouble. Also, I ship Fresley! Or is it Wesred? Either way...
