ALFRED HITCHCOCK POLL

First off!! LIVE UNBOXING TODAY on Youtube at 3pm CST.
I made a long post on Twitter/Instagram/Facebook as to why things have been a bit behind and late but I'll also talk about it today during the live, too!

HOW DID WE GET HERE?

great question - I was scrolling through the excel sheet of movies I've been sent, scrolling through polls, and comments sections and realized that so many of y'all have been wanting more Hitchcock films.

I know the man had so many more movies but I can only include so many on one poll! Hopefully you like the choices!

while history shows I didn't love Psycho (I think I'd feel differently now) but really enjoyed Rear Window (I mean jimmy Stewart and grace kelly?? PLEASE) I figured I could use a flick from the "Master of Suspense" himself. Honestly perfect for the last upload before Hallobeans.

Wrong. The film is Not in the Public Domain. It is Still copyright protected. The Hitchcock films that Are in the Public Domain are as follows: The Lodger: A Story of the London Fog (1927) The Ring (1927) The Farmer’s Wife (1928) Champagne (1928) The Manxman (1929) Blackmail (1929) Juno and the Paycock (1930) Murder! (1930) The Skin Game (1931) Rich and Strange (1931) Number Seventeen (1932) The 39 Steps (1935) Secret Agent (1936) Sabotage (1936) Young and Innocent (1937) The Lady Vanishes (1938) Jamaica Inn (1939) The film you are most likely thinking of that Is in the public domain is 1963’s Charade directed by Stanley Donen and starring Audrey Hepburn and Cary Grant. It was the film that the copyright on it was forgotten,

I have an idea for all the Hallobeans recommended: Have Hallobeans last ALL FALL!! It'll give you much more time to go through the very long list.

Well at least you don't have to worry about copyright claims on the Birds.... because fun fact it was never copywrote, public domain on release because someone messed up. Probably the reason it is one of the best known because you can just show it anytime anywhere you want.
