My thinking: Escape From New York (She is Uncredited, and doesn't physically appear, she is just a voice on a computer and some narration... that is like watching Hook for Glenn Close, or Mystery Men for Michael Bay, or Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery for Christian Slater (would have said Star Trek VI, for Slater, but Ashley hasn't seen that one)... You don't watch a movie for someone that is hardly in it, unless they have absolutely nothing left that you haven't otherwise seen. The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension... SHE ISN'T IN THE FILM AT ALL... No, seriously, She WAS in the a Prologue that ended up on the cutting room floor... this is like watching Iron Man for Ghostface Killah or Back to the Future for Eric Stoltz... PERFECT, it was a meh Film, besides Jamie Lee Curtis, you get one of the roles that sort of tanked John Travolta's career for a long while between Grease and Pulp Fiction, a few other TV Celebrities of the time (Marilu Henner, Loraine Newman), a couple other famous people appearing briefly as themselves (Carly Simon and Lauren Hutton), and a forgettable subpar plot. Far from living up to its name. My Girl 2... first one was better, the story is meh, very forgettable, and there is a reason we never got a My Girl 3... yes, for completionism, it needs to be seen, but this is not worth watching for Jamie Lee Curtis... maybe if you need an Anna Chlumsky film (cause she doesn't have a deep list of films, and this was her series) Freaky Friday, while a remake of a possibly better film (Seriously, Jodie Foster, John Astin, Barbara Harris in one of the two roles she was competing with herself for a Golden Globe for in the same year, heck, the Original was a 70s/80s TV and Film Star filled film)(also a worse film, but few people know that Shelley Duvall did a 1995 Freaky Friday, despite a fairly decent cast, including Carol Kane, Drew Carey, Eileen Brennan, & Sandra Bernhard), it is still a solid showing for Lindsay Lohan, Jamie Lee Curtis, Mark Harmon, Harold Gould, and a few others, including a cute connection to the 1976 version with a cameo by Marc McClure, Marty McFly's older brother actor who was in both the 1976 original and 2003 remake)... it is undeniably the best movie option ACTUALLY WITH Jamie Lee Curtis on the List (Yes, Buckaroo Banzai and Escape From New York might be overall better movies, but Jamie Lee Curtis isn't really in them). But Steel is so bad a movie, it doesn't even exist... Blue Steel meanwhile is effectively, lets remake Halloween as a Stalker Cop Action Drama... which is fine, but it is basically just make the same film with Jamie Lee Curtis that made her career so we can capitalize on Jamie Lee Curtis being scared and hiding from the bad guy until it is time for her to overcome it and fight back a little...

Jerome Davis

Is that supposed to be Blue Steel because that is a great movie?!

Jacqueline Young

Ok. Weird. Two people liked my comment reply and now it's missing entirely.

Alaskan Two Spirit Wolf

I think you meant "Blue Steel " for the last selection. ๐Ÿ˜… But seriously, that is a good movie.

Rebecca Howe

Escape from NY... it's just her voice in the movie. i'd go with Trading Places or Forever Young. or you could start Hallobeans a bit early and do Prom Night.
