TCM plays this one from time to time. I watch it for the cast: George Hamilton; Frank Gorshin (the Riddler from the old "Batman" series, which we grew up watching). Tall girl Paula Prentis and Jim Hutton ended up doing a number of movies together and made a good team. Yvette Mimieux was Melanie, such a sweetly pretty girl. Barbara Nichols is Lola; she of course made a name for herself with that slight ditzy, slightly sweet presentation and delivery. I always confused her with Maureen Arthur (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-J_KuNqWhw).
Central character Dolores Hart gave up acting and became a nun. The movie is an odd combination of froth that turns very, very dark with Mel's character.
