Well, remember where and how they are, and how close it came to not happening at all because they didn't understand Imperius. Also, the point of this particular moment isn't the reunion with Navarre. Not yet. It's the stare down to the Bishop, and the quiet, disdainful dropping of the hawk jesses, and turning away from him. Navarre has had plenty of opportunities in this scene. Isabeau needs hers, and we need to be there with her.

It took me a while to get into this, but once they got around to revealing who the wolf and hawk were, I was invested. It kinda lost me at the end with the melodramatic-ness of Ladyhawke just kind of standing back there and the achingly slow walk towards Navarre.. I was like, girl, RUN! And kiss him already! LOL And the bad guy only had to *look* at them together to break the curse? It seemed anti-climatic. ha ha. But I do love Matthew Broderick, so...
