I love it, because it shows that the only way to fight against an evil that is part of us, that is everywhere... is to use the good which is also part of us, and is also everywhere. You can't "change the world", but you can have some effect on those you love, those around you. And that is, in itself, a little miracle. That's Angel realizing that the old business of saving one soul at a time, of caring for specific people is ... more important, more effective, than trying to destroy all evil for the good of all humankind. Or, to quote from "Candide", Voltaire's famous book, "yes, yes, but first you have to take care of your garden."
