(reposted from the ep short on YT) I talk a lotta shit and make jokes (see username) but this is the one time I will share. 8 months before this episode came out, lost my Mom in a car accident, so when I saw it, I was not 'okay'. It happened on I-20 from Birmingham, AL to Atlanta, GA, right outside Talladega (IYKYK). Large pool of water, lost control, nobody's fault, but she wasn't wearing her seatbelt. I was home when I got the call, but I did not cry. I rushed to the accident scene, but I did not cry. I went to the funeral home being used as a morgue to ID her body; still, I did not cry. My mother loved fish, so I got her a sterling silver Japanese Koi bracelet with mother of pearl watch the prev Xmas. When I was using the country funeral home phone to call everyone because small town, no signal, they brought me the watch and all her jewelry in a plain Ziploc bag. THAT'S when I cried, and I did not stop, for three days. My point is not sympathy, it is to tell you this- Please wear your seatbelt, we love you, and we want you home safe. ❤️
