I guess it depends how much you believe that people can change... and how deeply you understand Faith's motivations, and how they relate to the possibility of changing.

Also, Faith chooses to be in prison. I think that's a takeaway that leaves away most viewers. As The Slayer, she could leave any time she wants. This is a theme that is started in "Choices" for Faith and we end up here.
