MILLENNIAL MOVIE MONDAY - 70's Poll
Added 2025-05-03 14:00:10 +0000 UTCokay friends - to get the taste of "too recently made movies" out of your mouth - let's do some decade polls! This one is clearly the 70's.
now it is impossible to put every watch-worthy film on a single poll so I grabbed titles that I've been sent before, some that are quoteable, and some that I've been told I'd love.

I'm late to this conversation but as a person who was in high school the last half of the 70's I just wanted to say these are all worthwhile titles BUT Taxi Driver and Apocalypse Now, as important as they are, are not FUN movies. They will definitely kill any hope vibes you might have lying around. They are also very violent. Any of the others would be enjoyable. My personal preference would be Saturday Night Fever. There is no movie that better illustrates pop culture at the time. Other good options that aren't in the poll are Jaws, Breaking Away, or Soylent Green.
