WATCH ALONG: Buffy S3 E20

WATCH ALONG: Buffy S3 E20

It is so satisfying coming back to this episode now that Ashleigh is currently on Season 5 of Buffy and Season 2 of Angel. The way her feelings have changed towards certain characters is amazing lol.

Funny how Wesley and Cordelia is weird, maybe 10 years apart? But Angel and Buffy isn't? He's over 200 years old and he's with a teenager.

Mazzy Star’s ‘Wild Horses’ never fails to shed a tear. Though I was crying laughing at - “…. I’m gonna punch a wall”

I was the school photographer, so I had to go to the prom. Without a date. However, okay since I DID know how to dance, I had many 'friend zone' girls dump their dates for a dance with me (have photos to prove it). Wasn't looking to go steady at that time anyway, so it worked out splendidly for me.

Girl, I didn’t have a date for my prom and I didn’t even go. Ended up going to watch a car race that a friend was racing in. I don’t regret it. Don’t feel I missed out on anything. But the class protector scene always made me tear up. She finally got some validation for all that she did and went through. Like someone else said earlier, this episode and the final 2 really wrap up this era of the show and I think you’re going to appreciate it. Can’t wait for the finale and hopefully season 4 in a few months.

If I'm not mistaken, Buffy's wedding dress was a custom Vera Wang and it caused a frenzy because TV Guide published a picture of Buffy in it before this episode aired so there was mass speculation that her and Angel were getting married.

Buffy and Angel are a tragic love story for the ages. The great ones never work out. It’s impossible for them to be together. The Prom is one of my favorite episodes and even 20-something years later makes me cry. The perfect ending to a great phase in this series. The next episodes will clear the way for where it goes next.

FUN FACT: Tucker is played by Brad Kane, the singing voice of Aladdin in the 1992 Disney film!
