I canceled stream last Sunday because I had walking pneumonia- I have to cancel again due to a family emergency.
My mom lost her dog this morning very suddenly and very, very traumatic. Like - we’ve been cleaning blood off of surfaces through her home for hours.
I’ll keep you updated on a rescheduled unboxing - it’s just my mom needs me right now.
Thank you for understanding and I know my mom would appreciate all prayers and good vibes. 🩵 give your fur babies some extra hugs and kisses today.

My heart breaks for your mom. My dad had that happen years ago to his little pup. There's no preparing for things like this. Take all the time you need to be there for your mom as well as yourself. I gave my Bojack extra cuddles and kisses for you, much to his annoyance. My friend group also has a song we play to send off lost fur babies. I've sung it in my heart so it reaches your mom's baby

2025-03-10 12:18:30 +0000 UTCAs a person who had a traumatic accident with my dog, so much that I wont have another pet for a very long time, you and your mom have my deepest sympathy. Advanced warning of trauma dump, anyone reading should stop unless you're okay with feeling sad for a bit- I don't really talk about this to people, but I imagine it's healthier to do so, so I want to take advantage of this moment in mutual sharing. I haven't had many friends to tell in the past 10 years. In 2 years between 2010-2011 I lost my long time dog to cancer, as well as my aunt, my grandmother, and then my aunts dog who we inherited whom I couldn't see around the corner of our driveway when arriving from work one day. I know that it wasn't my fault, no one could have seen him over the hood of the car and around the sudden downhill sloped sharp corner, but I find it hard to describe the cause of death without including myself. I felt an previously unknown amount of sorrow and guilt. A sadness overtook me which literally felt like it unlocked a muscle on the top of my head that I'd never flexed before and have rarely used since. Did you know you can flex your scalp? I didn't until then. On the way to the pet urgent care, my stepdad told me that I wasn't alone in this feeling, because on the night of his marriage to his first wife(not my mom), on their honey moon drive he accidentally hit and killed a dog. Fate his us so hard sometimes.

Second, I think I speak for most of us when I say we can’t help but be curious what happened, though I think most of us would understand if you don’t feel like talking about your mom’s business. I understand why that would be a bit personal, but damn. Anyway, again, VERY sorry to hear about this horrible trauma. I’m sure those who pray will keep your mother in theirs.
