2025-06-19 01:14:18 +0000 UTCwatched this movie yesterday and really enjoyed it. My only complaint is that I couldn't really think of a clear message to take away from it. Like i finished the movie and thought, "hm that meant something powerful" but couldn't really put my finger on what exactly that was. For example the fact the music drew the vampires to the juke but then Sammie went on to never put the guitar down. Like was the music supposed to be good? Was it supposed to be bad? I feel like the movie bit off a little more than it could chew thematically and because of that wasn't really able to deliver a clear message/takeaway.
