2025-01-24 23:10:01 +0000 UTCRed Skelton (Skell-ten) was a very funny comedian back in the day. He had a variety show also and he even had John Wayne in a sketch or two! He also has a poignant clip of him explaining what The Pledge of Allegiance means. I highly recommend that!

One star you missed, the “tipsy” woman, locking lips with Dean Martin, was Shirley MacLaine ( from Steel Magnolias). Also, if you know about modern Las Vegas, it was great seeing Vegas in 1960. Just to think how it grew, wow.
