Diamonds are a ridiculous item to heist. Every traded diamond is marked with a serial number. The second one is reported stolen, they become unsellable. I don't care how good a fence you have, you can't do it without problems. Diamonds are inherently worthless, anyway. You stole a shiny rock, congrats. You can't even sell it until the statute of limitations runs out. At least steal gold. Gold is just as practically worthless (It's shiny metal. That's the extent of it's practical use} At least bars of gold can be melted to erase all identifying markings. I swear, common sense is so damn rare, it's a superpower.
