Why doesn't anyone talk about older movies like this? Because pop culture has a very short memory when it comes to anything that isn't loaded with gunfire and explosions or extremely cheesy humour. There are so many incredible movies that have slipped out of the popular zeitgeist because they aren't flashy enough or edgy enough to hold people's attention.

They even showed that guy that did the channel 3 news. I think it's a bummer that they turned the Pyramid into a Bass Pro Shop. I always thought it was a really cool venue to go see shows.

2025-01-06 20:37:07 +0000 UTCI can't think of any '90s movie based on a John Grisham novel that isn't good. The Rainmaker, The Firm, Runaway Jury, A Time to Kill, The Pelican Brief. The casts are always stacked and the stories are always engaging. I'd recommend any of the above. A couple of them might even be older than you. None of them are older that me...

2025-01-06 20:27:49 +0000 UTCJohn Grisham books to films were big in the 90s. You got The Firm (1993) with Tom Cruise & Gene Hackman, The Pelican Brief (1993) with Julia Roberts & Denzel Washington, and A Time to Kill (1996) with Sandra Bullock, Sam Jackson, and Matthew McConaughey (my personal fav). Highly recommend all of these. :)
