Same!

Haven't watched this yet -- mainly because we haven't seen the movie -- but I'm curious to see what Ashleigh thinks of Henry Cavill, aka Superman. 😉

I absolutely LOVE this movie!! I have it on DVD so I gotta get it out and do the watch along with you. I cry every time because this story is so wonderful and heart wrenching. Awesome pick William!!

Echo Moon

Such a great movie! Priest is played by Richard Harris (Dumbledore in Harry Potter 1 & 2)and Henry Cavill(Superman) plays Edmond & Mercedes son. This one is kinda a hidden gem but one I've always watched if I saw it on TV. The movie is based on a book written in 1844!! The same author wrote The Three Musketeers & The Man In The Iron Mask. I really like the 1993 version of The Three Musketeers and definitely recommend it. Also The Man In The Iron Mask with Leonardo Dicaprio is a great sequel to The Three Musketeers. A fun little movie fact: The book, The Count Of Monte Cristo was mentioned in the movie The Shawshank Redemption. It was mentioned when they were sorting books for their library and Red(Morgan Freeman) suggested that the book be placed in the educational section😂

Katie Jackson

You might remember Guy Pearce from Memento, may I recommend The Time Machine from 2002? It’s not the greatest remake but it deserves some recognition. lol!

Gio Vidrio

Also, I can't believe I forgot to mention the Count and Mercedes' son - played by Henry Cavill (I think he's like 19 or 20 in this movie).

John W Foster

blah that should have been Richard Harris, not Richard Chamberlain - the rest is unchanged.

John W Foster

I'm sure the Youtube commenters will point it out, but the actor who plays the man who taunt Edmond everything in prison is Richard Chamberlain - the actor who played Professor Dumbledore for the first two Harry Potter movies.

John W Foster

I love this movie so much. Haven't watched the reaction yet, but very glad you gave it a watch.

Neil Silverman

I am weirdly reminded by this movie that we gots to get Ashleigh to see "Oldboy" some day :D

Michael Tocci

Ah okay, I was wondering about Hawkeye.
