I thought they handled Chadwick Boseman's passing really well. The one thing that kinda bugs me about this is Namor. The actor gave a fine performance. But it seems like it would've been a lot easier to just form an alliance with Wakanda instead of insisting that Riri Williams be killed. The Wakandans could easily keep surveillance on the Talokan part of the ocean and keep invaders from digging around down there.

2024-12-21 17:02:19 +0000 UTCWhat I wonder, is if since he showed up for the challenge instead of Shuri, and she was a no show, does that make him king? A challenge to the throne with no one to defend that challenge. Perhaps they planned this together, and Shuri would rather be only Black Panther and not Queen. I do think M'Baku would make a good king. With all his bluster, I believe he is actually quite wise. I do think in the future that Marvel are planning on having young Prince T'challa be a new Black Panther at some point. This way they were able to keep audience's investment and attachment in the character, and also honor Chadwick by not carelessly recasting him with a sudden new face, yet still have a future for a Black Panther named T'challa in the MCU. Kind of having their cake and eating it too. Maybe they'll wait for that kid actor to grow up and get buff, or maybe they'll recast his older self.
