Al is definitely not the only Japanese person there. The existence of the country of kararagi alone signifies there were more. If not one person who hugely influenced the culture there. The kararagi dialect is also the only hint in the anime that shows al might be from Japan, cause when Subaru in the throne room of episode 13 claims how Anastasia has a Kansai dialect, al confirms it. That’s the only confirmation in the anime and that’s crazy. I wanna mention how sick it is that we have the introduction of the sin archbishop of lust, and Tappei is such a genius that he makes her power a shapeshifter. Obviously we already knew the witch of lust’s authority, but in capella’s hands it’s just a full on shapeshifter ability, where the witch of lust we only saw turn into rem in season 2. Oh also the regulus thing, yeah that’s wild, Tappei you monster. The first wife of regulus we meet is not only referred to by a number, but a number way higher than the expected 79.
