I think it's important to bring up the mid-episode information card in episode 7. It brings up the fact that Gremmy had been locked away in a special Quincy prison made by Ywhach until the 2nd invasion. This prison was made specifically to limit Gremmy's imagination, as his powers are the only ones amongst the Quincy's that's a legitimate threat to Ywhach. Because of the frightening potential of his powers, pretty much all the other Sternritters fear and hate Gremmy and even questioned by Ywhach released him from his prison because he's too strong and unpredictable to be controlled (this was unfortunately cut from the anime). This is why Gremmy didn't just imagine himself instantly winning all of his fights. This was the first time he was freed from his prison, so he wanted to have fun while he was out. And Kenpachi was the first person who wasn't afraid of his powers and dared to challenge him, so that made Gremmy want to prove that he could beat Kenpachi with "his own strength". All of this is just to say that the anime didn't do that great of a job at really showing just how ridiculously strong and frightening Gremmy's power was. Pretty much any other captain would have gotten instantly folded by him (including Unohana). Kenpachi is one of the few captains that could have actually beat him. This is why Yhwach classified Kenpachi as a "Special Threat" along with Aizen and Ichigo. Bambi's crew were only able to gang up on Kenpachi because he was seriously injured after his fight with Gremmy.

No that's not Ichigo's bankai that is just his shikai. I remember that you asked but I don't remember when exactly. Hope that's not a spoiler you should know he's not in bankai even if they didn't say so... I mean... if he was in bankai you would have heared a loud "BAN....... KAAI" you know that!

That was Ichigo's Shikai btw but the fact that Orihime and Chad were able to stop Ishida's Arrows when the arrows were able to hurt Ichigo shows that their little off screen training arc was useful!

Yeah Unohana Went by yhe name Yachiru when she was Kenpachi and that's who Kenpachi named his lieutenant after when he found her. But the reason why Gremmy was so uncreative with his imagination powers was because Yhwach had him imprisoned until this second invasion so his imagination was stunted. Also That meteor Scene actually had the Quincies freaking out too in the manga 😭
