The "O" guy who stole his Bankai literally just zapped him with the lightning from the cloud. I think Yamamoto was extra pissed because the guy who stole his lifelong right hand man's Bankai didn't even know how to use it right

Also they mentioned this earlier at the captain's meeting, but they're calling the Sternritters 'rebels' with the same terminology that they called Ichigo and co 'rebels' (ryoka?). To me I think this really showed how woefully underprepared Soul Society was - they got infiltrated by 5 high schoolers, a local bum, and a cat; now with the same protocol they're getting absolutely bodied by an actual trained army. They do not have that dawg in them 💀

There is also the upcoming No Breaths From Hell Arc that Kubo did a one shot for and said he will continue when people stop asking for it. Burn the Witch also takes place in the Bleach universe is but more of a spinoff that Kubo said he wants to connect to the main series at one point

Also, I’m glad you seem to enjoy Äs Nödt’s screen time as much as I do. He’s my favorite quincy and one of my favorite Bleach characters overall. All of his scenes are so well-directed and his voice acting is just pristine
