Jingle Beans Poll
Added 2024-11-25 18:52:18 +0000 UTChi yes hellooooo We're making our way into more December movies!
I know I had you vote for two on the previous one but this one is just pick your favorite! I'll have an extra poll coming your way because a hallobeans winner cannot decide what they want so they need your help.
Comments
A friend of mine recommended all the Madea movies. I haven't done it yet, but it's definitely on my list!

2024-12-02 22:12:35 +0000 UTCYou should check out 'A Medea Christmas' i think you'd love it 😊 even if its not for the channel it's still a great, funny movie. Happy Holidays 🎅
Sandra Courville
2024-12-02 02:31:58 +0000 UTCReally?? It's SO good. Hilarious Dennis Leary comedy. I'm sad that it's not winning the poll so that more people can see it.
Cosmic Slice
2024-12-02 02:00:00 +0000 UTCIt's such a good movie and I know Ashleigh would enjoy it.
Cosmic Slice
2024-12-02 01:58:36 +0000 UTCSame...definitely not the best movie on the poll.
Cosmic Slice
2024-12-02 01:56:45 +0000 UTCThe family stone is one of my favorites at Christmas time. I hope she gets to watch it.
Alexis Callagan
2024-12-01 23:40:59 +0000 UTCI'll suggest "The Lion in Winter," from 1968. Christmas goes medieval.
Cindy Byrne
2024-12-01 10:14:54 +0000 UTCI have not even heard of 8 Bit Christmas. The others I know of and agree that are worth a viewing
Sarah L.
2024-11-30 20:18:17 +0000 UTCDang nobody cares about 8 Bit Christmas lol. Also kinda wish I'll Be Home For Christmas and Mixed Nuts was on this list, those are a must for December as well
Carlos Sutton
2024-11-29 20:02:58 +0000 UTCThe Christmas-themed movies I would be hoping for Ashleigh to watch are mostly much older and probably wouldn't ever get much traction even if they got into a poll. Besides Scrooge (1951), which remains the best version of A Christmas Carol ever filmed, I would love to see her react to screwballs and screwball-adjacent flicks such as "Remember the Night" (1940), "The Man Who Came to Dinner" (1942), "Christmas in Connecticut" (1945), and "It Happened on Fifth Avenue" (1947).
W. Randy Hoffman
2024-11-29 14:13:30 +0000 UTCThe grinch is a must but I hope family stone comes back on another poll
Missy Schmader
2024-11-29 06:55:15 +0000 UTCI haven't seen it, but I just watched the trailer. I love Dennis Leary! Definitely on my list to watch!
ssb031
2024-11-28 00:59:22 +0000 UTCI'm just throwing this out there as an alternative, but what about Emmet Otter's Jugband Christmas? It's Muppets and it's super cute!!! Ashleigh can watch it on Peacock, Tubi, Prime, Sling TV or Plex for FREE!!
ssb031
2024-11-28 00:52:57 +0000 UTCSame! I voted for that one too. But all of them are good picks (except for Krampus but I'm not a horror fan and Christmas movies turned into horror are really not my thing). Too bad we couldn't send her to theaters to watch Red One. It's pretty great!
ssb031
2024-11-28 00:50:31 +0000 UTCOn this list its my favorite
King Nero
2024-11-27 11:32:31 +0000 UTCI voted with everybody on Grinch. I really think Ashleigh would like 8 bit Christmas and Family Stone alot too though. I like Christmasy movies at Christmas time
Mr Marvelous
2024-11-27 02:11:15 +0000 UTCThe Ref is awesome
Sarah L.
2024-11-27 01:30:29 +0000 UTCLove the classic animated Grinch but I have no interest in the live action version
Sarah L.
2024-11-27 01:29:12 +0000 UTCWent with Grinch but The Ref is a fun, underrated comedy.
David Hunter
2024-11-27 01:28:48 +0000 UTCthere are more of us than you think. I know its in 3rd now but maybe
Sarah L.
2024-11-27 01:28:03 +0000 UTC"You nauseate me, Mr. Grinch... You're a three-decker sauerkraut and toadstool sandwich With arsenic sauce!"
Josh Clark
2024-11-26 22:52:45 +0000 UTCHmmm.. these are all too recent for me. I'm a classic Christmas guy. Alas.
Robert Reichle
2024-11-26 22:33:35 +0000 UTCthis is hard. absolutely love The Grinch, Krampus, & The Family Stone so much... but The Grinch is just such an annual favorite of mine so i'm gonna go with it. watching it with Ashleigh will be such a special treat.
AnthoniusWillis
2024-11-26 20:55:43 +0000 UTCThe Man Who Came to Dinner, A Muppet Family Christmas, Meet Me in St Louis, The Bishop’s Wife; just to name a few!
Meredith Shivers
2024-11-26 17:50:52 +0000 UTCIt's an excellent, darkly hilarious Christmas movie. Don't want to say too much for fear of spoiling Ashleigh but check it out for sure
Charity Konusser (the chonus)
2024-11-26 13:38:32 +0000 UTCOh man Ashleigh would love The Ref but I bet not enough people have seen it for it to win.
Charity Konusser (the chonus)
2024-11-26 13:36:21 +0000 UTCKnowing her she would end up with the killer snowman one.
James Moyner
2024-11-26 13:11:53 +0000 UTCPrancer, Scrooge (1970), The Small One (1978), Anna and the Apocalypse,

Norberto Aguiar
2024-11-26 08:47:44 +0000 UTCWhat version is 2005???? I hope that was just a typo and she meant 2000.
CinWin
2024-11-26 06:54:24 +0000 UTCFor some reason I thought you'd already watched How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and now I'm wondering if I saw the future. I remember not being able to sync up properly for the watch along, but did I just dream that? Anyway, that's what I voted for, though there are some good ones in there.
Susan AKA Maisy13(YT) AKA Susan_is_still_in_progress (threads,IG)
2024-11-26 05:36:39 +0000 UTCTotally agree. No interest in seeing the live action Grinch. The cartoon is the classic.
Sarah L.
2024-11-26 04:18:55 +0000 UTCYES!!!
Echo Moon
2024-11-26 00:53:25 +0000 UTCI’m going to say The 2000 grinch was the best grinch movie but eight bit would be my pic
Leon
2024-11-26 00:22:41 +0000 UTCawwi love the family stone. sad its losing so badly.
Ashley Thomas
2024-11-26 00:13:11 +0000 UTCSo true aha
RationallySassy
2024-11-26 00:10:14 +0000 UTCBeen a Christmas favorite of mine since I was 16.
Brian Straight
2024-11-25 23:47:06 +0000 UTCThe 2005 film is NOT the "classic". It was a big budget money grab! The classic is Chuck Jones' work of animated genius. The 2005 (2000) Grinch is fine.
Curtis Martin
2024-11-25 23:44:34 +0000 UTCWe watch it every year.
Cass&Jason
2024-11-25 23:27:19 +0000 UTCSounds like it's time for you to revisit. 😄
Lynette Cummins
2024-11-25 23:26:03 +0000 UTCLeon
2024-11-25 23:10:10 +0000 UTCI'm shocked anyone else remembers the Ref. I remember liking this film, but it's been a long time since I've seen it.
Scott Veatch
2024-11-25 22:56:22 +0000 UTCKRAMPUS KRAMPUS KRAMPUS!! This is the second poll she’s added it to this year so she obviously really wants to watch it!
EJN
2024-11-25 22:51:37 +0000 UTCRight!…it may be a typo though this is most likely the Jim Carrey one.
EJN
2024-11-25 22:50:43 +0000 UTCI guess we're running low on good Christmas movies. I can hardly think of one she hasn't seen yet.
Joe Blankenship
2024-11-25 22:03:25 +0000 UTCI think she should rewatch some of those movies she did when the channel first started. Like Back to the Future.
Joe Blankenship
2024-11-25 22:02:22 +0000 UTCMake sure you watch the right Jack Frost, if it wins. There are two very different movies with the same name.
Matt KC
2024-11-25 21:52:43 +0000 UTCThe Grinch is from 2000...unless there is a 2005 version I didn't know about 😁
Guillermo Antonio Ricci Alvarez
2024-11-25 21:39:21 +0000 UTCPass on all of these.
crazyivan
2024-11-25 21:36:46 +0000 UTCThanks for the info.😀maybe I will check it out.
Veronica Pearson
2024-11-25 21:09:07 +0000 UTCAgreed - I say The Ref.
ShartheHeretic
2024-11-25 21:05:16 +0000 UTCIt's horrible. I love the cartoon Grinch, and I usually live Jim Carrey - but that movie is awful.
ShartheHeretic
2024-11-25 21:04:59 +0000 UTCIt's a hilarious not-sickly-sweet holiday movie starring Denis Leary.
ShartheHeretic
2024-11-25 21:03:45 +0000 UTCI mean Jim Carrey's Grinch is not my favorite at all, but it's not a POS movie, lol. It's a fun/chaotic one time watch type of film.
Bastion33
2024-11-25 20:44:30 +0000 UTCYou should check it out. It's hilarious.
Lynette Cummins
2024-11-25 20:43:35 +0000 UTCUm, what is The Ref? I've never heard of that before. 🤔
Veronica Pearson
2024-11-25 20:42:57 +0000 UTCRe-watch Die Hard?
Brian's Dog
2024-11-25 20:27:46 +0000 UTCI was hoping to see the animated 2019 Christmas movie "Klaus" on here. It's a great, fairly new movie everyone should see.
Dawne ~ Island Green Strong
2024-11-25 20:26:31 +0000 UTCI second Anna and the Apocalypse!
JC
2024-11-25 20:08:18 +0000 UTCI vote for the Ref
Sarah L.
2024-11-25 20:04:30 +0000 UTCAgreed.💚
Lynette Cummins
2024-11-25 20:02:50 +0000 UTCOf the choices, I’m going with 8-Bit. And putting in another write-in vote for the British musical zombie Christmas movie called Anna and the Apocalypse.
Stewart Shutler
2024-11-25 20:00:53 +0000 UTCOkay people decide are we going with Ref or Krampus? We need to pick one side over the other to beat the pos Grinch. There is only one Grinch and it’s voiced by Boris Karloff from 1966.
James Moyner
2024-11-25 19:59:34 +0000 UTC"Jack Frost" is my choice.
Scott Margeson
2024-11-25 19:37:56 +0000 UTCHmmm... I wonder what Ashleigh would think of the BBC adaption of Pratchett's Hogfather...
Marvin Just Marvin
2024-11-25 19:33:01 +0000 UTCReally!? Krampus!? 🤷♂️
Michael Parker
2024-11-25 19:32:03 +0000 UTCThe Ref is a holiday staple in our house. We watch it every year. So underrated!
VanGinkel Author
2024-11-25 19:31:48 +0000 UTCIf Krampus wins, please, please, PLEASE do it in night vision!
Brandon Royce
2024-11-25 19:30:10 +0000 UTCPlease....The Ref! Not the Jim Carrey Grinch! Even if The Ref comes in second place, please give it a watch Ashleigh! Come on, Patrons! Vote for The Ref!
Jacob Colson
2024-11-25 19:25:08 +0000 UTCagreeeeed
JC
2024-11-25 19:24:53 +0000 UTCDoes she mean the Jim Carrey grinch? I can't find a 2005 one
Brent giesbrecht
2024-11-25 19:24:29 +0000 UTCAshleigh would LOVE The Family Stone (2005)! I hope she'll watch it even if it doesn't win! ♥

2024-11-25 19:16:59 +0000 UTCI LOVE The Family Stone (2005)! It's so d@#n funny!!! With a HUGE cast of beautiful A-Listers like this one, and a movie set in a picturesque, wintery, little town in CT! What more could you ask for???

2024-11-25 19:12:38 +0000 UTCAgreed!

2024-11-25 19:10:46 +0000 UTCThe Ref is Great!
Charlie Heist
2024-11-25 19:07:48 +0000 UTCI actually have a huge soft spot in my heart for Jack Frost (with Michael Keaton) I watched it all the time growing up on VHS. But that clearly isn’t the popular choice so I had to go with The Grinch
Jordan Wyant
2024-11-25 19:06:51 +0000 UTCWow! I had no idea so many people love The Ref. I never hear it talked about besides here. I watch it every year and listen to the great soundtrack nonstop. Voting for either "The Ref" or The Family Stone to see Ash cry her face off!
Jassell B
2024-11-25 19:06:21 +0000 UTC'Just Friends' would be a good future Jingle Beans movie to put on a poll.

2024-11-25 19:03:24 +0000 UTCGlynis Johns is absolutely priceless in this movie. So f'ing hilarious.
Cass&Jason
2024-11-25 19:01:48 +0000 UTCPLEASE WATCH THE FAMILY STONE. Your reaction would be so good and it’s such a good movie.
Darrick Turner
2024-11-25 19:01:10 +0000 UTCThe Ref is hilarious! So much better than the live action Grinch
Cosmic Slice
2024-11-25 19:01:08 +0000 UTCHow the Grinch Stole Christmas (Jim carrey) is from 2000. There is a newer animated "The Grinch" from 2018. I am assuming you meant the Jim Carrey version.
Adam Doyle
2024-11-25 19:00:10 +0000 UTCI'd recommend Rare Exports too
Rileymetal
2024-11-25 18:59:50 +0000 UTCIs The Family Stone a good movie? Probably not. I'll never not vote for it anyway, I love that very flawed movie lol
JC
2024-11-25 18:59:38 +0000 UTCDefinitely The Ref. Denis Leary and Kevin Spacey are hilarious. Ashleigh will love it. 😂
Lynette Cummins
2024-11-25 18:55:00 +0000 UTCYou guys are missing out. The Ref is one of the funniest Christmas movies ever.
