2024-05-07 12:52:23 +0000 UTCThey briefly touched upon Gin and Rangiku's relationship wayy back in the soul society arc! Gin had found Rangiku who was starving due to her having spiritual pressure and her gave her some dried persimmon (which is actually both their favorite foods btw) and then they stayed together as children similar to Rukia and Renji. Also Idk if you but her showing up in during Toshiro and Gin's Battle actually saved Momo's Life since she blocked his Released Zanpakuto from hitting her. He only ended the battle because he would've killed Rangiku since her Zanpakuto was starting to crack and she would've been impaled too.

Ichigo's Dad, Urahara, and Yoruichi stopped being able to feel Aizen's spiritual pressure at all when he transformed again. They suggested it's because he's become a higher form of being than them in some sort, playing into the idea that he's 'ascending'. Gin asked Ichigo if he was scared of Aizen because he could sense his power, and gave him a look when he suggested that was the case. Ichigo's dad confirmed that he needed to do this because he could still feel Aizen's power, but also saw how scared Ichigo was because he's the only one that could actually feel what he was up against. It helps explain what Ichigo's going through and is important in general. Hope this helps!
