Maximum Overdrive!! Yes please!!

Zombie

Fan of the original muppets, but when this came out Pepe stole my heart

Zombie

Omg! I need to dig out my dvd and see if I have that, thanks!

Zombie

Are you referring to The Halloween That Almost Wasn't?

Confuzzled Shannon

Pat Hingle played Commission Gordon in Batman (1989) and Batman Returns, he's also in Batman Forever and Batman & Robin but you haven't seen those yet. Oh and he's in Maximum Overdrive, which I highly reccomend,! It is a horror movie written and directed by Stephen King, not too terribly scary, but it is super entertaining and the lead character is played by Emlio Estevez who you may remember from "The Breakfast Club.

Anthony

1979 I believe no wait I confusing it with when dracula saved the world

Leigh Nathaniel Silver

Where my fellow nWo-ites at? lol

Joe Blankenship

For another Tim Curry movie cameo... recommend the NOT scary Halloween movie The Worst Witch movie from the 80s. It's cheesy but I love it!

Pepe the King Prawn, NOT a shrimp as he constantly has to correct people, made his feature film debut in Muppets from Space as one of the official "New" Muppets for that time. He officially premiered on the ABC series Muppets Tonight in 1996. He was eventually succeeded by the Muppet Walter when the 2011 film The Muppets came out. I remember when this film came out it was a week before my 16th birthday in July of 1999 and it was definitely a different kind of film than what we had seen previously. Between the time in which the Jim Henson company was co-producing with the Walt Disney Company on both The Muppet Christmas Carol and Muppet Treasure Island Sony/TriStar who had previously produced The Muppets Take Manhattan in 1984 wanted to make a new Muppet movie for the '90s and packed it with as much references to the popular sci-fi films that had been released at that time like Men in Black, Contact, and more. Unfortunately it didn't make as much money as previous Muppet films and by this point many critics considered this to be the last we'd ever see of the Muppets prior to their Disney acquisition. Thankfully the 2011 film The Muppets brought the Muppet popularity back for a whole new generation. If you get a chance to watch that film you'll definitely be left with a lot of smiles and maybe even some emotional tears.

Phillip Smith

Yeah, considering she's brought up Scream 3. Lol

Jacob Colson

The lab rat scientist is played by David Arquette. He plays Deputy Dewey Riley in the Scream movies. Surprised you didn’t recognize on the spot. Lmao!

Gio Vidrio

There's also "The Muppets Wizard of Oz" (2005) and "The Muppets" (2011).

Shawn Ravenfire

Did Ashleigh spell OSCAR....OACAR?

Jacob Colson

And wasn't the alien behind the blue glass with the two men standing & talking the same thing from Independence Day?

Jacob Colson

The evil lab guy was David Arquette (Dewey from Scream) and Dawson was played by Joshua Jackson (from Dawson's Creek) and the girl Pepe was rubbing against (Katie Holmes) was also in Dawson's Creek!

Jacob Colson

He was also in Home Alone 2 along with Tim Curry.

Jacob Colson

You did forget one Muppet movie The Muppets (2011) starring Jason Segel. You should also put Forgetting Sarah Marshal on your list for Valentine's Day. Also starring Jason Segel and has an extensive puppet segment.

F. Murray Abraham was in Amadus David Arquet was in Scream Pat Hingle is a character actor who has been around forever. Hulk Hogan probably was going through some legal stuff with WWE over who owned the name. Vince McMahon is notoriously litigious.

TheSingulatarian

Forget the haters. Ashleigh, you have a beautiful voice! I wish I could sing like you do.

Meredith Shivers

Andie McDowell you probably remember her from Groundhog Day.

Rob Schnieder was a SNL alum who had his moment staring in some pretty mediocre comedies in the late 1990s - early 2000s. Another actor who has somewhat fallen out of favor due to his conservative political positions.

Jeffrey Tambor is/was a prominent character actor who appeared in a lot of movies and TV shows. He fell out of favor in recent years as he was accused of sexually harassing a transgender actress on the TV series Transparent.

Ted Kopple used to the anchor of the ABC News show Nightline which started during the Iranian Hostage Crisis and is still running to this day.

"Watch the skies" is the final line from "The Thing from Another World".

Franchise Friday in October, George Romero's Dead series. Night of the Living Dead and the remake. Dawn of the Dead and Remake, Day of the Dead (1985). Return of the Living Dead and Land of the Dead.

If you get the DVD/Blu Ray there's a reaction/commentary with gonzo, Rizzo, Kermit and the director with mystery science theater 3000 silhouettes. Very funny
