FIRST HALLOBEANS POLL!
Added 2024-09-21 15:00:08 +0000 UTCIt's my faaaavorite time of the year and it just happens to kick off with a Wednesday.
I've gotten this question a lot so: Yes, Wednesdays this year have been for TV shows but in October I like to sprinkle in non-scary movies, because horror is not everyone's favorite thing. So NO TV SHOW this month but we will be back with something (idk yet) in November.
There are 2 movies that I HAVE to upload on certain days because I filmed them at The Stanley Hotel 👻 - yes, THAT Stanley hotel.. - and it teases to some really fun and crazy videos on the second channel that you don't wanna miss. I'll let them be surprises for you; but I think you'll like them.
EVERY VIDEO has a different secret phrase for the giveaway on YouTube. be on the look out! :)
REMINDER: The code EARLY10 save you 10% off in the merch store until October 1!

Exactly. Love that song!
Confuzzled Shannon
2024-10-01 04:25:22 +0000 UTCMy October is not complete without The Worst Witch. I have to watch Tim Curry's song at least 3 times each viewing...with my tambourine of course.

Missy Schmader
2024-09-26 22:18:26 +0000 UTCIf she *has* to do political stuff - I watch Ashleigh to escape it all but YMMV - I would love to see her react to My Fellow Americans (1996), Wag the Dog (1998), or Primary Colors (1998) She loves the actors in all of those.
TaleenaS
2024-09-24 23:52:40 +0000 UTCCoraline is really creepy but also really beautiful, more so than if Tim Burton had made it.
Paul Stelter
2024-09-24 19:12:58 +0000 UTCCompletely off topic, but looking ahead, have you thought about watching The West Wing for your November TV show? It's the 25th anniversary of this truly great show. And it is an election year.
WmT(Bill)Blake
2024-09-24 03:29:04 +0000 UTCI’m probably really dating myself but when I was a kid I saw a TV movie that I loved so much, we recorded it on a vhs tape and I watched it all the time. It was the 1986 tv movie: The Centerville Ghost, with a baby Alyssa Milano
Rebecca Anne
2024-09-24 00:16:30 +0000 UTCI clicked Coraline until I saw Bubba Ho-Tep. The Greatest Leading Chin + Elvis + Ashleigh = Comedy Gold. It's GOLD Jerry! GOLD!

2024-09-22 18:47:49 +0000 UTCEverybody should see "Nothing But Trouble" at least once in their lives. I'm not saying it is good but you have to ask yourself "how did this get made" The answer is the studio was distracted by production problems on "Bonfire of the Vanities".
TheSingulatarian
2024-09-22 18:06:11 +0000 UTCPlease add Cocaine Bear to a Wednesday HallowBeans poll! It's "scary" and gory and hilarious!

2024-09-22 15:58:20 +0000 UTCHave you seen "The Frighteners"?

2024-09-22 15:28:56 +0000 UTChttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=upayOFUPEoM Someone nice uploaded it in HD on Youtube since it's out of print and hard to find.
Jeb Manning
2024-09-22 06:20:26 +0000 UTCI did have an idea for something a little different. The 1970 movie called An Evening of Edgar Allan Poe. It features Vincent Price reciting and acting out four classic stories from gothic horror writer Edgar Allan Poe: The Tell-Tale Heart, The Sphinx, The Cask of Amontillado, and The Pit and the Pendulum.
Jeb Manning
2024-09-22 06:18:49 +0000 UTCIf you like comedy ghost movies, check out "The Ghost and Mister Chicken" staring Don Knotts.
Shane Plagmann
2024-09-22 05:34:03 +0000 UTCI'll bet Ashleigh would get a kick out of Transylvania 6-5000
Brad Hicks
2024-09-22 04:54:28 +0000 UTCI've sent her The Raven as well
Tom Castro
2024-09-22 03:39:56 +0000 UTCI understand, but that doesn't mean I can't bring it up from time to time does it?
Tom Castro
2024-09-22 03:39:18 +0000 UTCSpeaking of movies that are kind of in the horror/comedy genre, do you think Ashleigh would like the 1991 film "Nothing But Trouble" ? I mean it doesn't have a good rating on Rotten Tomatoes, but it does have some people in it that Ashleigh likes and it since it's release it does have somewhat of a cult following..
Tony Seyffer
2024-09-22 02:28:44 +0000 UTCKnowing how much Ashleigh LOVES a certain actor (no spoilers) it would be a crime not to vote for Haunted Honeymoon.
CinWin
2024-09-22 02:26:45 +0000 UTCOf course the, Beverly getting it on with the family ghost, story was lifted from Anne Rice's Mayfair Witches/Lasher which came out the year before the episode aired
Blu
2024-09-22 02:06:51 +0000 UTCMy son insists I'm wrong, but I agree with Ashleigh...could barely watch Blue Velvet, for Dennis Hopper of course & I'll never forgive him for 1984's DUNE . If you have to give people, in a darkened theater a glossary of terms before the movie starts, you have failed to communicate the story through the art of film.
Blu
2024-09-22 02:02:16 +0000 UTCIKR? I plotzed

2024-09-22 00:05:13 +0000 UTCDang, I didn't know she did a reaction to Mulholland Drive, though I think Twin Peaks is more accessible than Mulholland Drive
Matthew Barker
2024-09-22 00:04:41 +0000 UTCUmmm you should check out her Mulholland Drive reaction. Ashley don’t dance with no David Lynch

2024-09-21 23:02:23 +0000 UTCYeah I prefer to forget that episode exists entirely, thankyouverymuch. Come to think of it, there’s a lot of that show I’d rather forget.

2024-09-21 22:16:05 +0000 UTCHi Ashleigh, I`d like to suggest some other choices for you, that include the Supernatural. The 1935 film (The Ghost Goes West) Comedy/Fantasy starring Robert Donat. The 1937 film (Topper) Comedy/Drama starring Cary Grant & Constance Bennet. The 1942 film (I Married A Witch) Fantasy/Comedy starring Veronica Lake & Fredric March. The 1960`s Tv Series (Bewitched) is supposed to be partly based on this latter film.

2024-09-21 21:59:11 +0000 UTCreally hoping Final Destination and Cabin in the Woods get on polls this year. Cabin just barely lost to Event Horizon like 2 years ago and hasn't been seen on a poll since!

Brian Booher
2024-09-21 20:36:46 +0000 UTCBut she hasn’t reacted to all the others
Brian Booher
2024-09-21 20:33:21 +0000 UTCI woulld like to recommend an unscary halloweenie movie. The Worst Witch movie from 80s. It is musical too. 😁
Confuzzled Shannon
2024-09-21 20:24:37 +0000 UTCThe Pit and the Pendulum (1961) starring horror LEGEND Vincent Price. I have sent it to you (I think twice). When are you going to get around to it?
Tom Castro
2024-09-21 19:02:26 +0000 UTCHigh Spirits, 80s fun! A young Liam Neeson is in it.
Meredith Shivers
2024-09-21 19:00:50 +0000 UTCCan I vote for all of the above?
Shawn Ravenfire
2024-09-21 18:56:11 +0000 UTCI adore Bubba Ho-Tep but I wouldn't consider it a purely Halloween movie - you can (and should!) watch Bubba Ho-Tep any time. I'm torn on whether to vote for it because I would love Ashleigh to watch it, but others on the poll are more Halloween-ish.
Charity Konusser (the chonus)
2024-09-21 18:50:59 +0000 UTCI think you mean 'would never'.
Michael Parker
2024-09-21 18:49:37 +0000 UTCAMEN! Can we get back to the 'older classic movies'? 🤷♂️
Michael Parker
2024-09-21 18:48:46 +0000 UTCHigh Spirits is amazing. Baby Liam Neeson before he was an action film star <3

Michael Parker
2024-09-21 18:47:41 +0000 UTCNot on the list, but, as you already watched one of Ernest movies, I would seriously recommend "Ernest Scared Stupid" for HallowBeans.
William Stefens
2024-09-21 18:33:08 +0000 UTCOkay, there are too many good ones on that list. Paranorman, Corpse Bride, and Coraline are all great family Hallowbeans fun. Bubba Ho-Tep is a bit of lunatic genius. And, finally, High Spirits is just a lot of '80s ghost hijinks. Which do I pick?!
Snow Goon
2024-09-21 18:17:27 +0000 UTCGo BUBBA HO TEP!
Blu
2024-09-21 18:02:53 +0000 UTCI had to vote for it...I've never seen it on a reaction video...and I know how I reacted.

Bruce Devine
2024-09-21 17:40:06 +0000 UTCWhen you get back to TV shows I think "The Haunting of Hill House" is a must-see...if you haven't seen it already.
Dawne ~ Island Green Strong
2024-09-21 17:34:38 +0000 UTCEven if High Spirits and Haunted Honeymoon don’t make the cut for October, they definitely need to added to the priority list!
Erin MacKenzie Mower
2024-09-21 17:24:10 +0000 UTCNot really a Halloween thing, but I'd love to see you watch the TV series Twin Peaks 😊

Brittany Winter
2024-09-21 16:38:39 +0000 UTCHigh Spirits because it’s one of the movies which answers the question of ‘is it possible to bang a ghost?’ with a yes. Yes it is.

Gio Vidrio
2024-09-21 16:33:23 +0000 UTCVoted for High Spirits because it's the only one I've seen. Hope we get some older classics this year. I'll put in another request for The Ghost and Mr Chicken for Wednesday movie day.
Bill Bevins
2024-09-21 16:27:34 +0000 UTCOoh, this is a tough one... Coraline, Corpse Bride, AND Bubba Ho-Tep?! Hmm...
Neil Silverman
2024-09-21 16:22:01 +0000 UTCI want to vote for several, the 2 I really want aren't on the list. I want She Creature, and Howl.
Rosalind Matteson
2024-09-21 16:12:48 +0000 UTCThat’s exactly what I think as well, though there are many good films here, Bubba Ho-Tep is so underrated and overlooked.
Ian Forbes
2024-09-21 16:07:38 +0000 UTCI voted for High Spirits. It’s one of my favourite comedies.

Eric
2024-09-21 15:44:31 +0000 UTCWent with Coraline but I remember being pleasantly surprised with Paranorman when that came out (underrated in the kid's "horror" animation movies list IMO).
David Hunter
2024-09-21 15:43:13 +0000 UTCOk y'all are just being crazy or selfish. How do you not vote for Haunted Honeymoon or High Spirits??? Ashley would loooove watching her man Gene Wilder in Haunted Honeymoon and High spirits is just so hilarious and so 80s...Beverly D'Angelo, Steve Guttenberg, Daryl Hannah, Jennifer Tilly??? You can't get more classic. Shaaaaame Shaaaaame on y'all LOL

2024-09-21 15:39:54 +0000 UTCIf you purely consider what she have the most fun with, Bubba Ho-tep can't be touched. Probably not enough people have seen it to ever have it win a poll though. Alas.
Robert Reichle
2024-09-21 15:39:28 +0000 UTCOmg high spirits is so funny and dumb I love it sm. Shame it won’t win but made my heart happy to see it on the poll!

Michael Tocci
2024-09-21 15:08:18 +0000 UTCCoraline! High Spirits would have been my second choice. Monster House would be a great Wednesday movie. It’s animated. Really hoping The Burbs’ makes the cut this year.
